Finally!!!

Hello All!
In the eternity since I have posted a blog, A LOT has gone on. We had a few snow days here!!! Enough to have a snow ball fight and make snow angels! I had a birthday, but I can’t say that 19 feels that much different than 18. Spring Break came and went too quickly, but I did manage to get a good tan that week!! :) I won an essay contest that our Pre-Law Society held so I get a free LSAT prep course, which is an answered prayer considering the letters l,s,a, and t now strike fear in my heart when they are put together. Lately the weather here has been perfect so I have spent a lot of time outside on campus. There is a swing right in the middle of the plaza that has pretty much become mine lately :) The name of the game right now is time management. With less than 6 weeks of school left, I have a lot to be preparing for. My Constitutional Law class will begin two cases in a mock trial soon. I am on defense this time around. If anyone in the area has an interest in this type of thing, or just wants a free breakfast, stop by and watch! It’s always a lot of fun. The time and place should be announced on the school website (www.apsu.edu) soon, so keep a look out! We are currently having SGA elections this week, so there has been mass caompaigning going on. The last day to vote is on Wednesday. To any current students reading : GO VOTE!!!!! https://www.apsu.edu/secure/sga/ That’s all for now but check back soon for much updates!

Hello ‘09!!

Hey Everyone!!
I hope that your 2009 is off to a great start. I have been enjoying my holiday break by working just enough, visiting with friends and family and eating waaaaay too much. As soon as school starts again I am going to need to visit the Foy Center! I’ve had some technical difficulties getting this blog to work, so I am a little behind; but I would like to start by introducing myself. My name is Katie and I’m currently a sophomore at APSU. I am originally from a town just north of Chattanooga in East Tennessee. I’m a Political Science major with a minor in Psychology. I am hoping to go to law school once I finish at AP. I am the type of person that can’t sit still for too long. With that being said, there is a lot to get involved with at AP, and I am part of a lot! I serve as a justice on the SGA Tribunal, a Govs Ambassador, Pre- Law Society member, Peer Mentor and I work in the University Advancement Office on campus. You would think with all of that I would be loving this break away from Clarksville, but I am dying to get back and get started again. Each thing I am involved in offers me an oppertunity to serve in a different way as well as meet people I never would have before. I realize most colleges or universities offer very similar programs but at AP people are truely excited about it. All I can say is you need to come check it out for yourself!
